Standard Order of Go: 8:00 a.m.: Registration: 8:30 a.m.: Mare Performance Test: Free Jumping; during free jumping evaluation of the trot in free running; evaluation of conformation and correctness of gaits, if necessary (i.e. for mares doing both MPT and studbook inspection); Inspection of non-Hanoverian Mares, walk ring and awards (incl. non-Hann. mares for inspection from MPT, if any); MPT, under saddle portion; Inspection of Hanoverian Mares, walk ring and awards (including the Hanoverian mares for inspection from the MPT); Lunch; Foal Presentations, followed by branding (last activity of day).
Stabling: Stabling limited to 12 permanent on-site stalls, $45.00/stall/night or for the day. No grounds fee if trailering-in. Make checks payable to: Rolling Stone Farm. Payment due at time of reservations. Full refunds up to one week prior to inspection. Stalls will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. First bedding (shavings) provided. Additional bedding/hay available for purchase. Other Requirements: Proof of Negative Coggins for all horses. Veterinarian on call: Dr. Balliet & Associates, 610-262-3203.
Accommodations: Comfort Inn, 610-391-0344; Hampton Inn, 610-391-1500.
Directions: From east: Take route 22 or 78 to 309 north. 5.9 miles into Schnecksville. At a light (Wachovia Bank) go straight onto 873 north. Go 8/10 mile (just past shopping plaza on left), turn soft left onto Oakwood Lane. Go 7/10 mile to second stop sign, left on Park. Go 6/10 mile to second right onto Opossum; first left on Cider Press. Farm is first drive on left. From north or south, take 476 and exit Lehigh Valley. Go 1 mile east on route 22, exit 309 north. Follow as above.
Facilities: Mare Inspection: 60’ x 200’ outdoor sand arena; Mare Performance Test: Free Jumping will be held in indoor 60’ x 170’ arena, the under saddle portion will be held outdoors if weather permits.
Other: Weekly free jumping practice sessions prior to inspection date are open to outside mares. No dogs on grounds. Spectator seating near arena, bring own chair. Parking limited. Food provided courtesy of host. Other than limitations on stall accommodations (see above), this site will have an unlimited entry.
