Standard Order of Go: 8:00 a.m.: Registration: 8:30 a.m.; Mare Performance Test: Free Jumping; during free jumping evaluation of the trot in free running; evaluation of conformation and correctness of gaits, if necessary (i.e. for mares doing both MPT and studbook inspection); Inspection of non-Hanoverian Mares, walk ring and awards (incl. non-Hann. mares for inspection from MPT, if any); MPT, under saddle portion; Inspection of Hanoverian Mares, walk ring and awards (including the Hanoverian mares for inspection from the MPT); Lunch; Foal Presentations, followed by branding (last activity of day).

Stabling: 25 permanent box stalls (12’ x 12’) available on premises, $30.00/stall/night. Grounds fee $30.00/day. Make checks payable to Honey Locust Farm. Payment should be made at arrival on grounds. No refunds given. First bedding (shavings) provided. Bedding/hay available for purchase on grounds. Other Requirements: Proof of Negative Coggins for all horses. Veterinarian on call:  Dr. Cindy Kimbrell, 336-622-7447.

Directions: From Hwy. 40 toward Chapel Hill, exit on Hwy. 54 West. Follow Hwy. 54 West to Carl Durham Rd. on left.  Go 4 ½ miles past final stop light in town. Turn left on Carl Durham Rd. Take first drive on the left.

Facilities: Mare Inspection: 180’x 200’ outdoor sand arena or 120’ x 100’ indoor with sand and rubber footing; Mare Performance Test: 120’ x 100’ indoor arena for both under saddle test and free jumping. Warmup: outdoor standard sand dressage arena.

Other: No dogs on grounds. Food will be available, compliments of host. Some spectator seating near arena, bring your own chairs. Extensive parking available on grass.
