2010 Annual AHS Stallion Service Auction

The 2010 Auction has now concluded. Congratulations to our successful bidders!

The proceeds of the auction benefit all American Hanoverian breeders, mare owners and stallion owners through increased promotion of the American Hanoverian in advertising, event promotion and our significant awards programs.

Before bidding on a stallion, please browse our Bidder Features and How the Service Stallion Auction Works pages to familiarize yourself with common terms and procedures. Be sure to read and understand the Stallion Service Auction Terms and Conditions because after a bid has been made there will be no bid withdrawls, exceptions or refunds given. For complete and detailed information on any ancillary costs associated with breeding to each stallion, always contact the listed Stallion Owner/Agent directly BEFORE YOU PLACE YOUR BID. Booking fees or deposits for shipping, collecting, containers or mare care are usually required by stallion managers prior to breeding your mare. Please note that any such fees associated with the purchase of any of the donated breedings are the responsibility of the mare owner. Also note that residents of Kentucky purchasing breedings to stallions standing in Kentucky will be required to pay a 6% State Sales Tax on the bid amount, which is payable to the AHS.

BIDDER'S CHOICE: Stallions marked as bidders choice are grouped with one or more stallions in a single auction lot and are highlighted below. The winning bidder in a "Bidder's Choice" auction will be asked to indicate their preference of one (1) of the stallion services listed in that grouping.

Second Round "Buy it Now" Bidding
Stallions who do not receive bids when the main auction ends will be put back up on the auction site on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at 10 a.m. EST for a shortened second-round “Buy It Now” bidding round at a reduced price. Last year they included some excellent choices for bidders who missed out in the first round.
