Congratulations to all!
The AHS is pleased to announce our Sport Horse Breed Show winners for 2007. New for this year, we have split the Colts/Geldings and Fillies Divisions into "Younger" Colts/Geldings and "Younger" Fillies—Weanlings & Yearlings together; and "Older" Colts/Geldings and "Older" Fillies—Two and Three Year Olds together. This means that we now offer Year-End Awards for these competitions in six divisions instead of four. The AHS Board approved this change as we are beginning to see more Hanoverian entries and qualifiers in these shows. We give a Championship cooler to all of the division Champions, a glass trophy to our Reserve Champions, and ribbons through fifth place in each section. Congratulations to all of our winners!

Also, please do remember that while we do use median scores as USDF does, and therefore do require at least 3 showings for each horse to have a median; we do not use any Regional Championship scores toward computing the medians. Thus, be aware your AHS median might be slightly different from your USDF medians if you were placed in their Horse of the Year categories for the DSHBS awards.

Everyone, please be sure to check your horse's USDF page at some point in the coming year, to make sure that they have all of your horse's pedigree, owner, breeder, and Breed Society declaration information correct. We have noted that there are mistakes in the information that they have on file for quite a few of your horses.

Photos of the top horse in each division will be added as they are received for the Spring 2008 Yearbook issue of The American Hanoverian. Please forward your photos (glossy prints or high resolution digital files, *tif, *eps, *jpg (900 x 1200 pixels minimum on CD, DVD or Zip) to the AHS Publications Editor at 3588 Belfry Road, Northampton, PA 18067. E-mail single digital files to sandy@unbridledcreative.com. Photos must be received by 2/20. All professional photos must include the photographer's name and a release for publication. Include a self addressed, stamped envelope if you would like your photo/disc returned.
