2011 AHS Annual Meeting

The 2011 meeting will take place February 4-6 in Portland, Ore.

REGISTRATION FORMS MUST BE RECEIVED BY January 22, 2011
AHS Members must also reserve rooms by 5 p.m. January 20, 2011 in order to receive the special $106.00 single or $116.00 double occupancy annual meeting room rate (pending availability). Use the group code AHS when reserving your room(s).

(includes all meetings, Friday's reception, Saturday’s events and meals)
Saturday Events Only: $55.00 (advanced); $65.00 (walk-ins)

Saturday Evening Banquet Only: $50.00 (advanced); $55.00 (walk-ins)

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations received on or before January 22, 2011 will incur a $25.00 administration fee. Due to AHS contractual obligations with the Hilton Portland & Executive Tower — we will be unable to give refunds after January 20, 2011.

Location and Dates

The 2011 AHS Annual Meeting will be held February 4-6 at the Hilton Portland & Executive Tower in Portland, Oregon. The meeting will offer three days of educational programs and seminars on various aspects of the equine industry. Attendees will also be updated on the work of various AHS committees and will have the opportunity to brainstorm marketing ideas. In conjunction with the meeting, a silent auction and catered dinner is held to honor the society’s year-end awards winners in competition.

Programs and Seminars
This year’s AHS annual meeting will feature an exciting Saturday training symposium entitled “Dressage Through the Levels: Training Level to Grand Prix” at the world-class Devonwood Equestrian Centre in Sherwood, Ore., conducted by Olympic bronze medalist, Sue Blinks. The informative event will demonstrate Hanoverians at each level of dressage while Blinks shares tips, targeted goals and milestones that should be reached.

Following the camaraderie of Saturday evening’s catered awards dinner and silent auction, join the the AHS’s own dedicated committee and board members on Sunday for important updates. The 2011 Annual Meeting promises to be both educational and fun!

Awards Banquet and Silent Auction

In conjunction with the meeting, a catered awards dinner will be held Saturday evening at the Hilton Portland & Executive Tower to honor the outstanding AHS members and Hanoverian winners of the previous season's cache of AHS Year-End Awards.

The ever-popular Silent Auction continues to offer fun and fantastic bidding opportunities on a wide range of donated items. Proceeds from the auction benefit future annual meeting educational opportunities and Hanoverian promotion.
